The background is a canvas, uneven coloring of which refers to the ancient frescoes from the walls of ancient palaces. The unique color of the rug ‘Golden Rust’ was achieved by using a huge number of shades of fibers from light gold, ochre to deep brown. The third element is the pile texture, formed by knots of wool and silk.
