MOHAIR

Mohair is a refined wool made from the hair of the Angora goat. Both durable and resilient, mohair is notable for its high luster and sheen, and is often used in fiber blends to add these qualities to the texture. It’s unique characteristics make it ideal for rugs; it is extremely long-lasting, soft and naturally resistant to soiling. It has a stunning silky sheen that adds intensity and dimension to color scheme.

This fiber is completely natural. With extremely soft and delicate texture it possesses natural shine and feels like silk, but is less expensive in production Bamboo silk threads can be twisted with wool to obtain a unique sophisticated gloss.

ALPACA

Alpaca is one of the finest and most luxurious natural fibers in the world. It is warmer, stronger, lighter and more resilient than wool. Alpaca is thick and delightfully fleecy with a soft texture underfoot. The fleece itself is recognized globally for its fine softness, light-weight texture, durability, excellent thermal qualities and shining luster.

TENCEL

Tencel is a natural material known for its strength, durability, light reflecting properties and its capacity to moisture resistance. Tencel fibers are also distinguished by their dye affinity which allows for vivid colors to come through. Tencel made rugs have a silky lustrous surface that is lightly ribbed with varying shades of color.

ALlo

Allo is a Himalayan nettle plant which can be processed into a fiber. It is is also known as Wild Nepalese Nettle or Himalayan Giant Nettle plant. Allo can be blended with other fibers such as wool, creating an interesting variety and blend of textures. The natural plant fiber also pairs well with house plants, which have become increasingly popular in homes.
