Currently featured in our virtual exhibit is a breathtaking Lachak-Toranj design rug, crafted in the last quarter of the 19th century by a master weaver from Bakhshayesh. Measuring 381cm x 274cm, it boasts a striking central medallion rendered in an electric shade of blue, that commands attention and draws the eye inward. The medallion is surrounded by a contrasting red ornamental border, adding a sense of depth and elegance to the design.
