This rug features a central medallion with a dark background, surrounded by a bright red color. The border of the medallion is adorned with a yellow corner composition, separated by a thin light blue line. The corners are also composed of a yellow color. The background is a deep red color and the edges are also red. This rug is of the Lachak-toranj design and originates from the region of Heris. It is approximately 353cm x 292cm and was created in the late 19th century. The rug is made in plain weave.
