The rug features a light yellow background with orange corners, creating a vibrant contrast. The central medallion is composed of shades of red and orange, adding depth and dimension to the design. Unique black symmetrical elements are featured above and below the medallion, creating an interesting and eye-catching contrast. This rug is a Lachak- toranj (Corner – medallion) design, originally crafted in Heris and measuring 378 cm by 290 cm. It was made in the last quarter of the 19th century.
