A 19th century Toranji pattern rug, said to have originated in the famed area of Sarab, is currently on display. The precise dimensions are unknown. It has a medallion design set that is made up of three lozenge medallion parts that are framed and created by red embellished lines. The intricate design and symmetrical pattern demonstrate the weaver’s outstanding ability and talent. Smaller medallions surround the core section. The color palette is mostly white. There are additional lines that separate the center from the edges and are made up of red and blue tiny lozenges.
