Hashtrud is a city in the East Azarbaijan province of Iran, famous for its weaving tradition. The Tekrari design is an endless repeating pattern which can feature geometric shapes, animals, or other motifs. The rug is approximately 148 cm by 100 cm and was made in the late 19th century.
