The rug includes lovely repeating pieces that resemble arks of various hues, the most appealing of which is blue. The backdrop is ornamented with a complicated, multi-colored decoration in a variety of colours, primarily brown. The margins are also brownly decorated. The design originated in the Shahsavan area and was designed around 1890. It has a width of 107 cm and a length of 322 cm.
