Rug Azarbayejan-Tabriz-18

The rug has a dark grey and subdued red medallion at the center, surrounded by an orange field. The rest of the rug follows the same pattern and color scheme as the medallion, with a plain weave. It is of Lachak-toranj design, and it’s origin is Tabriz. The rug measures 592 cm in length and 366 cm in width, it is from the late 19th century.
