The rug has a Toranji (medallion) design, originating from Isfahan. It features a central red medallion surrounded by a blend of beige and yellow, and has small red corner medallions as well. The edges of the rug are beige and red, and the overall design is complex and ornate. The rug measures 368 cm in length and 269 cm in width, and was made in 1930. This Toranji design is a classic example of the traditional rug making artistry of Isfahan, showcasing the intricate detailing and meticulous craftsmanship of the region.
