The rug features a Lachak-toranj (corner-medallion) design, originating from Isfahan. The centerpiece is a red star-shaped medallion with two smaller red medallions located above and below it. The medallions are surrounded by an emerald green color, and the corners are a peach hue. The edges of the rug are a deep red and all the colors are rich and vibrant. With dimensions of 321 cm in length and 211 cm in width, this rug was made in 1940 and showcases the traditional rug making techniques of Isfahan. The intricate design and deep, bold colors make this rug a stunning piece of art.
