This rug is a beautiful example of the Toranji design, originating from Isfahan. The design features a small but striking blue medallion, with two smaller medallions above and below, set against a beige field. The corners of the field are accented with smaller blue elements, while the edges are a rich crimson color with intricate floral designs. The rug measures 218 x 148 cm and is from the 20th century.
