The rug has a light blue medallion with a yellow center, surrounded by a yellow field. The edges are also yellow with touches of light blue. The rug design is known as a “Lachak-toranj” which features a corner medallion, and it has a Mohtasham design. The rug originates from the city of Kashan and measures 206 cm by 132 cm. It was made in 1880.
