The described rug is a Talfighi design with a mingle corner-medallion pattern, originating from the city of Kashan. The design features lozenge shaped medallions in light red, red, and black colors, with intricate floral and plant-themed elements. The larger medallions engulf smaller ones, creating an alternating pattern. The rug measures 322*223 cm and is believed to have been created in the mid 19th century.
