The rug has a repeating pattern with elements in light blue, red and orange colors. The design is called “Tekrari” and it is a type of endless repeat design which means that the pattern is repeated continuously across the entire surface of the rug. The design originates from the city of Kashan in Iran. The rug’s dimensions are 206cm by 135cm and it was likely made in the first quarter of the 20th century.
