The rug features a brilliant blue field with a multicolored unending repetition motif. The recurring element is a blue and white hexagon. There are 18 of them components to be discovered. It features multicolor borders that contrast well with the primary hue. The rug measures 178 by 286 centimeters and is from Quchan. The exact date of creation is uncertain, however it was most likely in the early nineteenth century. The Tekrari pattern is a prominent motif seen on Persian carpets.
