On a display is a rug with a red field with repeating black medallions, which are arranged in an endless repeat design. The rug has black edges that frame the central design. It is classified as a Tekrari design and comes from the region of Sistan. The rug measures 230 by 113 centimeters and is believed to date back to the 19th century.
