Only a month”s time is left before the major world design event of the yea, Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano. During the week from April 9 to 14, 2019 at Milano Design Week the world”s leading designers, furniture manufacturers, architectural offices and design studios will once again present the best creatiму products.
SALONE DEL MOBILE MILANO: CONCEPT 2019
In 2019 Salone Internazionale del Mobile pays tribute to the unique genius of Leonardo da Vinci, as this year marks the 500th anniversary of the artist”s death. Innovation and creativity thus become key slogans of Salone del Mobile.Milano 2019. In Pavilion 24 will be presented the project DE-SIGNO, telling about the Italian design before and after Leonardo.
Simultaneously with Salone del Mobile, Fuorisalone events will take place in different districts of Milan. Within five days, the city will become the center of attraction and a venue for industry events, shows, workshops and private parties in exclusive locations, hidden courtyards and terraces with spectacular views.

TAPIS ROUGE invites you to spend 5 spring days in the center of world design and to visit the gallery of Rossana Orlandi, with the opportunity to see and touch, order or buy new rugs from Ambiance collection.
Made from the best-selected yarns of New Zealand wool and the finest Chinese silk, the rug Iceberg’s uniqueness lies in its vast combination of thirty shades of blue, as well as the continuous variation of pile heights. It took about a year to produce this masterpiece of exceptional beauty: about 700 hours for sketches, 600 hours for developing the technical maps, 450 hours for working with color and texture and 1200 hours for production: the rug is hand-knotted from Chinese silk and finest wool.
